We met for lunch to discuss the upcoming reunion. 18 were in attendance, which was great. A committe was formed to investigate various sites and available dates. We are shooting for a September Reunion. We are hoping to have it open to all alumni from other graduating classes. The steering committe for the reunion consists of Jack Field, Mary Davids Willer, Linda Morgan, Della Redbird and Patti Wensierski Sweitzer. We hope to have the site and date chosen by the end of February. After that, we are off and running! As soon as we have a site, committees can be formed to plan the events. Everyone was very positive and enthusiastic! Thanks to all who gave up their afternoon to come. The next meeting will be on February 27th. In the meantime, all committee members will be searching for alumni of 71. If you are, or know the whereabouts of any graduates, please contact

1st meeting at Louies went great on Sunday January 17th. Attendees were: Bill Kirk, Kathy Fadell, Cindy Hines, Della Redbird, Vicki Presley, Mary Ritchie, Ena Mcavana, Camille Sirhan, Jim Simpson, Mary Davids, Janet Schimtz, Denise Constantineau, Jack Field, Linda Morgan.
ReplyDeleteA steering comittee was formed consisting of Della Redbird, Linda Morgan, Mary Davids Willer, Patty Wensierski Sweitzer to help organize the reunion. Several of the attendees are looking into locations for a September Reunion. A thought is to have a weekend festivity. An example would be Friday – Bonfire. Saturday – Golfing, Bowling, Picnic and Pot Luck, Lawn Games, Reunion at night. Sunday – Brunch.
We need help in location people. Patty Wensierski came up with a complete class list from past reunions, Facebook, Classmates, etc. Please refer to Facebook for updates.
A discussion was held whether or not to include other class years. Consensus is that we will see how many 1971 attendees we will have, and decide then.
