SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!!!

Plans are shaping up for out 40th reunion!  There will be something for everyone, and every budget.  Come and join us for a weekend of activities.  Friday night will start out with checking in at the Hospitality room at the Courtyard Marriott in Troy.  We have reserved a block of rooms for our alumni both Friday and Saturday nights.  More detailed information will follow.

We will be gathering at Augies on John R in Madison Heights for our evening Meet and Greet from 9-?  A live band will be playing all our oldies.  Mingle and meet with friends for the good ol days!

Jack Field has a fun afternoon of bowling planned on Saturday for those so inclined.  The times and lanes will be announced later.

The big event, the reunion banquet, will be held at Farina's in Berkly.  Dinner will begin at 6:00.  Included in the ticket price will be dinner, open bar, photos and a memory book.  We will have a DJ.  We promise to make it a memorable evening! Shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and hall.

On Sunday morning, we will gather for Sunday Brunch at the Courtyard Marriott.  Omelettes to order and a breakfast buffet will be served.  The cost for the buffet is $10.  If you are a hotel guest, there is no charge.  We hope you can join us for brunch even if you miss the dinner on Saturday night.

The committe has been working hard to plan activites to include all of our friends and alumni.  Graduates other than 71 alumni are welcome to join us in all activites.  Dinner tickets will be sold to '71 graduates on a first come, first serve basis.  Ticket sales will then be open to all other alumni.

REUNION PLANS MOVE FORWARD

Plans for the 40th Reunion are moving along.  Here are the highlights of the planning meeting on February 28th .

The site selection committee chose Farina's in Berkley.  The date of the reunion banquet will be October 1st.  Exact times and cost is yet to be determined.  The menu will be chosen at a later date.

Hotel sites are being visited.  A block of rooms will be reserved when the location has been chosen. The hotel will provide shuttle service to and from other weekend events being planned.

When final details of the events are worked out, the mailings will begin.  Please pass any alumni addresses on to Patti or Mary as soon as possible so we can get our mailing list as up to date as soon as possible.

Planning meetings are scheduled for March 20, April 17th and May 15th.  Locations to be determined. The times and locations will be posted on this site and FB.

Our reunion will be open to other Hazel Park Alumni, with the emphasis on the alumni of 1971.  Having several events makes it possible to include many friends who want to gather and remember the "good ol days"!

We are excited to be planning these reunion events!  Please join us at a meeting.  We are looking forward to meeting with all our Viking buddies the first weekend in October!
